Judges' Testimonials
What real judges think of Attorney Catherine W. Real
The following is testimony from an active sitting Circuit Judge in Hillsborough County on April, 29, 2015:
Okay. We are back on the record. So I'm going to be making some preliminary comments to all parties and counsel before I get into my specific findings and my ultimate ruling.
First and foremost, I want to compliment both of the of the attorneys today. It was clear that your preparation leading up to and then during today's proceedings, was exhaustive. You advanced very strong positions for your respective clients. There was a lot of testimony and evidence that was of an extremely intimate, personal, sensitive nature, as well as just the overall nature of the allegations alleged of domestic violence. So, very emotional topic, and I wanted to compliment both of you for not just your preparation, but the professional--professionalism with which you represented your clients, your clients' interests, and interfaced with opposing counsel and the opposing litigants.
It was not lost on the Court, and it shouldn't be lost on your clients, that they should be extremely satisfied. Regardless of how the Court rules today and regardless of what the Court finds credible and not credible in testimony, they should be very satisfied with the quality and character of the representation that they received today and have been receiving, and I'm sure, will continue to receive beyond the domestic violence injunction hearing that we're at right now.
